How to Calculate CPC
CPC (Cost Per Click) is calculated by dividing the total cost of your advertising campaign by the number of clicks received:
CPC = Cost ÷ ClicksFor example, if you spend $100 on a campaign and receive 100 clicks:
CPC = $100 ÷ 100 = $1.00 per clickFrom CPC, you can also derive other metrics:
- Total Cost = CPC × Clicks
- Clicks = Total Cost ÷ CPC
- CTR = (Clicks ÷ Impressions) × 100
- CPM = (Total Cost ÷ Impressions) × 1,000
